Beautiful morning shot of Mt. Hood, sun not quite up yet, but rearing its head. Sleepy fog hanging on and hiding the busy commute below.

Changes in the wind have me both nervous and excited. Quitting my job of 23 years has anxiety written all over it and yet my job has had me under a curtain of stress for years. Crawling out from under it is probably the best thing I have ever done for myself.

Timing is a funny thing and not always on our side. But as timing would have it my Dad decided to move into an assisted living condominium complex. After some discussion we both decided it might not be a bad idea for me to move from Seattle into the condo is he moving from in Portland, to be of assistance, during this major transition and beyond. As it turns out, it will be a major transition for both of us.

And another adventure begins!
