I am taking a road trip with my Dad. Similar to one that he and my Mom have done several times in the past. (I joined them once and we all had a blast.) Mom isn’t here anymore but we thought we would take a roots tour as we sojourn to Eagle Rock to have our first Christmas down south with my brother Scott, his wife Margi and their son, Robert. What follows will hopefully be the humurous stories of my Dad and me as we wind our way down the 5, hang in LA for the holidays, and then take the Coast Starlight northbound back to Portland, and for me, on to Seattle. Ten full days of the road, the family, Christmas fun and of course, trains. Oh, and Dad is turning 90 in the middle of it. Bon Voyage!!
